Refund and Return Policy

Welcome to ShareGold. This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs purchases, redemptions, and transactions conducted through the ShareGold platform.

1. General Policy

ShareGold enables users to:

• Purchase gift cards for gifting purposes.
• Redeem eligible gift cards through ShareGold.
• Use eligible gift card balances to purchase digital gold.

Due to the digital nature of our services, most transactions are final and non-refundable.

2. Gift Card Purchases

Once a gift card has been successfully:

• Issued,
• Delivered,
• Activated, or
• Redeemed,

the transaction cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded.

Refunds will not be granted for:

• Change of mind.
• Incorrect recipient details provided by the purchaser.
• Failure to redeem a gift card before its expiry date.
• User error during purchase.

3. Digital Gold Purchases

Digital gold purchases are executed based on prevailing market rates at the time of transaction.

Once a digital gold purchase has been completed:

• The transaction is irrevocable.
• No cancellation is permitted.
• No refund shall be issued due to market fluctuations in gold prices.

Users are advised to carefully review transaction details before confirming any purchase.

4. Failed or Incomplete Transactions

If payment has been successfully debited but:

• Gift cards are not issued, or
• Digital gold is not credited,

the transaction will be investigated.

After verification, the amount may either:

• Be credited back to the original payment source, or
• Be processed successfully through the platform.

5. Eligible Refund Cases

Refund requests may be considered only in the following circumstances:

• Duplicate payment made by the customer.
• Payment deducted but no successful transaction recorded.
• Technical errors attributable to ShareGold.
• Unauthorized transactions verified by ShareGold after investigation.

Approval of refunds remains solely at the discretion of ShareGold.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds shall generally be processed within 7–10 business days.

The actual credit timeline may vary depending upon:

• Banking institutions,
• Payment gateways, and
• Financial intermediaries.

7. Fraud Prevention

ShareGold reserves the right to:

• Reject refund requests,
• Suspend accounts,
• Cancel transactions,

where fraud, abuse, suspicious activity, or violation of platform policies is suspected.
